WASHINGTON - T磁力羆he US Treasury Department is considering making a one-dollar coin featuring President Donald Trump to mark the country's 250th anniversary of independence next year, said the department Friday.

The design shows Trump's image with his fist raised on one side of the coin, alongside the words "fight, fight, fight," recalling his reaction after surviving an assassination attempt last year during the election campaign, according to drafts of the design posted on X by Treasurer Brandon Beach.

The coin's other side features Trump in profile, with the word "LIBERTY" above and the dates "1776-2026" below.

Due to Congres磁力羆sional restrictions on featuring individuals in coin designs, it is uncertain whether the draft images could face challenges under current law.
